Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens/Tyrol

For Swarovski Crystal Worlds, the multimedia artist André Heller designed 16 Chambers of Wonder dedicated to the versatile artistic interpretation of the material crystal. The result is a universe of discoveries and a simply unique experience with every visit.

The Swarovski Crystal Worlds are an ideal destination all year round and in any weather for the whole family. In addition to the play tower and playground in the south of the garden, which offer fun and excitement, the weekly workshops and family days are really thrilling.

Wildlifepark Ferleiten

A great destination for the whole family! Right next to the Grossglocknerstraße before the toll station there are over 200 animals indigenous to the alps on around 15 hectares of land. In the petting zoo, the meeting between humans and animals is not only allowed, but also desired! A walk around the park takes around one hour. The paths are all suitable for pushchairs and wheelchairs.

Besides you will enjoy free entrance to the 20,000 sq.m. large playground, where children and teenagers can expect over 40 adventure games.

Krimml Waterfalls

With their impressive waterfall drop of 380 m the Krimml Waterfalls are the fifth highest waterfalls in the world. In a 10 - 15 minutes walk from the parking lot you reach the lowest waterfall. From there, the serpentine waterfall path leads to the highest waterfall (walking time approx. 1.15 hrs.). Enjoy the refreshing mizzle and the impressive power of the water amidst the gorgeous scenery of the Hohe Tauern National Park.

On the way to Krimml we can recommend a trip to the Wildgerlostal. At an altitude of over 1400 m, it is the ideal destination for hikers and mountaineers as well as for nature lovers and connoisseurs.

Großglockner High Alpine Road

Austrias most famous alpine road leads you into the heart of the Hohe Tauern National Park, to the highest mountain in Austria, the Grossglockner (3,798m) and its glacier, the Pasterze. You will have a driving and nature experience of a special kind on 48 kilometres of high alpine road, passing through a unique world of mountains with blossoming alpine meadows, fragrant mountain forests, massive cliffs and eternal ice to the foot of the Grossglockner, the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe.

Zell am See and Kaprun

Untouched nature, lakes and breathtaking mountain landscapes make these places your perfect destination.

Zell am See is located on the shore of one of the most beautiful lakes in the Salzburger Land: the Zeller See. The crystal-clear water offers wonderful refreshment and sporty holiday fun in summer. In winter, a walk around the sparkling lake is very romantic. On board of a ship you can enjoy an amazing view of your holiday region.

Discover the imposing world of water, rock and electricity high above Zell am See - Kaprun. The two high mountain reservoirs in Kaprun almost seem like fjords.

Fortresses and castles at Salzburger Land

The Fortress Hohensalzburg, Europes biggest castle complex, the Salzburg Residence Palace, the Hohenwerfen Fortress and the Mauterndorf Castle are perfect for a journey into the past.

A breezy experience awaits you at the over 900-year-old Hohenwerfen Fortress in the Salzburg Pongau. On the steep peak, high above the Salzach valley, the gentle breeze from the surrounding mountains caresses your face while peeking through the embrasures.

Eisriesenwelt Werfen

Experience the biggest ice cave in the world. The Eisriesenwelt is a cave labyrinth with a total length of more than 40 kilometers. Discover crystal-clear ice palaces which take you right into winterwonderland - even on hot summer days. 

The cave tour takes about 1 h 15 minutes and is not suitable for persons in wheelchairs.

Therme Amadé in Altenmarkt: Eleven pools, a lazy river and a spectacular wave pool provide fun for all ages. The absolute highlight of the spa is the Anaconda - Austria's only looping slide.

TAUERN SPA Zell am See-Kaprun: If a thermal spa can be described as a “base camp for body and soul”, that actually says everything!

Alpentherme Bad Hofgastein: The alpine thermal spa is blissfully embedded in the middle of the mountains and offers its guests a 360-degree alpine panorama. Impressive is the Sauna World of the Alpentherme, with its generously designed outdoor sauna village. 

Mining and gothic museum in Huetten

For all fans fo Mining and History, we recommend a visit to the medieval mining town of Huetten/Leogang. Stop by and experience history in authentic surroundings under the motto: "Thriving Mining = Thriving Art".

In its very special way, one of the oldest mines in the country comes alive again. For a short while, experience a world where miners spent most of their time doing hard work. Most of the mines you inspect by train. Not so in Leogang. The mine Leogang wants to convey a pure impression of medieval mining. Therefore, you walk on foot, sometimes bent and in single file, through the narrow galleries.


National Park World Mittersill

The National Park World Mittersill invites children and also parents in an incomparable alpine world of experience. A large exhibition about the animal, rock and plant world is the focus of the presentation. In ten adventure stations, the children get to know and understand the diversity of the national park. A particularly popular station among the children is the groundhog lair, where the kids crawl through the corridors of the cute rodents and explore the life in the underground caves. In the new 360 ° panorama world you experience the unique nature from different perspectives from the peak, from a crevasse, in the torrent and from the Rauris primeval forest.
