Accessibility Statement

Hotel Das Rivus strives to make its website, www.rivus.at, accessible in accordance with the current version of the Accessibility Act (BaFG), implementing Directive (EU) 2019/882 on the accessibility requirements for products and services.

We follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, which have been implemented as far as possible.

Non-accessible Content

The following content is not fully accessible for the reasons outlined below:

Incompatibility with Accessibility Requirements:
Some PDF documents available on our website are not yet provided in an accessible format.

Partial contrast issues:
Some text and graphic elements currently do not meet sufficient color contrast standards, which may affect readability. We are working on optimizing the visual presentation for all users. If you experience difficulty reading specific content, please let us know — we’ll be happy to assist and provide the information in an accessible format.

Disproportionate Burden:
Due to organizational and economic constraints, it is currently not feasible to make all older PDF or Office documents fully accessible. However, we are continuously working on making new content compliant with accessibility standards.

Content Outside the Scope of Applicable Legislation:
The website also includes older documents that were published before 28 June 2025 and are therefore not subject to the legal requirements of the Accessibility Act.

Third-party Content:
The website may contain content provided by third parties (e.g., booking widgets, embedded elements). As we neither funded, developed, nor control this content, we cannot guarantee its compliance with accessibility requirements.
